What Are Lumpers?

What are Lumpers? Lumpers are professional freight handlers that unload & load freight for carriers “Truckers” at warehouses and distribution centers. Majority of the time they unload it. This entails them sort & segregating the freight to the specific requirements of the slots of the warehouses. Due to the repetitiveness of them doing the same freight over and over their productivity is generally extremely higher than that of hourly workers. Another incentive is the fact that the majority of the time they get paid 100% productivity which in turns lowers the operations cost of the warehouse. Having a lumper service at your warehouse can be truly rewarding.
