Transportation movement of people and goods from one place to another. The term comes from the Latin Trans ( “through”) and portare ( “bear”). Industries that have a business providing equipment, the actual transportation, transportation of people or goods and services used for the carriage of goods or individuals who make up a large broad and most important sector of national economies, and all collectively referred to as the transport industry.
